David brings his eye for choreography and movement-based storytelling into his direction. He loves working with ensembles to create dramatic, impactful narratives that incorporate the mediums of traditional theatrical dialogue and physical theatre. His most recent project was co-directing the Risky Nights Project at his alma mater, Studio 58.

In a long-abandoned community hall, one last meeting is taking place. On the agenda: Can a group of individuals band together to save the hall before it is destroyed? What does it mean to be a part of a community in the first place? How do we come together, when difference threatens to divide us? Through stunning physicality and absurdist satire, this Risky Nights will answer those questions and more.
The Risky Nights Series is an opportunity at Studio 58 to bridge classroom work and main-stage productions. Students in their fourth term of training create and perform every aspect of an original theatre piece with a professional director.
